HELLO &WELCOME

I’m Becky, the person who hides behind the camera

Photography is a great passion of mine.

I first started out with my love of wildlife and taking photos whilst out on family walks, and taking photos of my family, this then led me into the career I have today.

There is something that is so special capturing someone else’s story and seeing the love and bonds you have within your family. I adore to capture the small details of the little ones and seeing the love the older ones have on their faces is priceless.

These moments fly by so quickly and before you have time to think they have gone, and we are just left with the memories. This is why we need to have photographs to keep these memories in a stored and in a tangible form. With photos you have the opportunity to be able to go and look through these memories with generations of families lives.

This is something that I have always believed, however, since having my own children, I not understand even more the importance of capturing these memories as they grow up so quickly.

As well as being a professional photographer and capturing all your lasting memories, I am a mum of 2 beautiful boys, a big lover of all animals, especially cats. A big internet browser, Pinterest hobbyist and I love Amazon (who doesn’t, it sells everything).

When I’m not taking your photos or sat in front of the computer, as a family we love the great outdoors and being in nature. We are members of the RSPB and love to walk around the reserves and seeing what birds we can see. We are also English Heritage members as well. One of our favourite places to visit is Brodsworth Hall and walking around the gardens.

I work in the comfort of my own home studio, it is not the biggest of spaces, but it is ideal for the smaller families and for the little newborn babies that I see. All of the sessions that I offer, are very relaxed and have very little posing from myself, I prefer the natural, authentic photos, and as you have probably seen, I photograph on white. To me having photos taking, you want the subject (you) to be the most important aspect of the photo. By using white, there is very little distraction and the focus is on you.
