When doing newborn photography, it is always something that love to do and being able to have all those squishy cuddles with the little darlings. As well as the mums and dads putting their trust in me to capture their perfect little ones the best that I can.
But what makes this session extra special compared to my other session, is that I was asked to capture the adorable little Maddie who is also my baby cousin. So this session came with extra cuddles and probably lasted a lot longer than my usual sessions :-)
My little cousin and his beautiful wife brought little Maddie to my home studio for her newborn photography session. She was the most perfect little girl to photograph.
We managed to get some lovely asleep and awake photos of her on her own and some with her mum and dad.
True to my style, we started off with some photos of Maddie just relaxing and doing her thing on my beanbag. I always like to start my sessions this way as it helps mum and dad ease in to the photos and not feel like there being rushed in to anything. It also helps me to determine what type of photos I can capture as the little one will show if there going to be settled or not.
From here, we then moved on to photos with mum and dad, again these are natural photos showing the beautiful connection.
