Here is a beautiful little baby boy that attended the studio with his mum and dad for his newborn photos. As you can see from the pictures, he was awake the whole time apart from the last couple of minutes and was a little dream to photograph.
I’m sure everybody who knows me and who has seen my photography work with newborns (well all my studio sessions) know that my style is very authentic, natural & neutral, as well as not having any strict posing and leaving the little ones in their natural position. I love photographing this way because I feel it really allows the subject to be the main focus of the photo. Sometimes, I do use the occasional accessory or blanket to add a little bit of texture. By doing this it can create an extra level of depth to the photo, as well as a little bit contrast, it can do all of this without taking any attention away from the subject. I know a totally neutral and natural colour scheme isn’t for everyone, but personally, I absolutely love it!
